I love black bodycon dresses! So when I saw this dress designed by Rumi on RVCA, I immediately bought it knowing I’ll wear it for every occasion I can think of. The sleeves are my favorite part and they make me feel like I’m wearing beautiful long gloves.

Do you sometimes feel really giddy for no reason? That’s how I was today! I couldn’t stop smiling and I didn’t know exactly why but it puts me in a good mood anyway. I’ve been wondering what to wear lately because the weather is just unbearably hot that you want to live in bikini all day but I decided to layer up my bodycon dress with the striped tank top I recently got from Nastygal. Sometimes when I look at my closet, I noticed that I’m starting at a bunch of clothes that I don’t want to wear. I realized that most of my clothes fall into two categories: a) They’re recently bought, therefore, I don’t want to wear them out unless it’s for blogging or for special occasion b) I need to buy new clothes….I need to buy new clothes…..
The must-have items in your closet should be three tshirts (gray, black, and white) short sleeve, longsleeve and sleeveless in all those colors would save you a lot head-scratching as to what to wear in a hurry! And black dress (maxi and mini), white shirts (2 minimum) one for casual and one for fancy events. But you can never have enough white shirts, yes? Then a pair of comfortable but chic pair of dark or black jeans or leggings that look like jeans. Or tailored smart pants. And a bodycon skirt in any color. Black or white jacket. Add a pair of classic pumps and voila! You’re all set and you never have to wonder what to wear in the morning! Sounds simple enough but I always buy something else of course.
I was having a cold while I was taking these pictures and it’s a miracle they turned out alright. Can’t wait for the weekend because I need to do some shopping! xxoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxoo
